Off To School
Nina, Milli and Ajeet got ready as quickly as possible to get to the bridge first, but as soon as they reached the bridge there was already a huge line of kids. They were all talking and playing games together while waiting for their turn. Ajeet and the girls joined. The bridge had been there for a long time. The bridge was old and broken, it had a few broken planks here and there and the children were worried that if they were standing on breaks they would fall in the river. So they went one by one and slowly jumped over the broken planks.
one Sunday night a storm arrived and it rained very much. The rain went Pitter Patter on the floor. Ajeet and the girls were a bit worried about the bridge. It was already so light because of it’s broken planks but they didn’t worry too much because they thought it must have rained like this before and the bridge survived, hopefully it will survive now too. They slept off with their fingers crossed and full of hope. The next morning when they reached the bridge to go to school they realized the night's storm had made the bridge fall into the river so they were very upset and just sat there for a long time, thinking “When will we ever get to school?” The other children had already left, the younger ones crying while the elder ones walked away, upset. So
Nina,Milli and Ajeet finally gave up hope too and they returned to their house and told their parents what happened. The parents were very sad for their children but didn’t know what they could do so they just tried to soothe them.
And so they couldn't go to school! The first few days of being away from school the kids just sat in their room frustrated and helpless. But then one day Milli just couldn't take it any more so she said lets try and solve this problem, I can’t stay away from school. So they made a plan of who will convince the villagers who will go to the woodcutter and other things. They finally decided that Nina will convince the villagers, Ajeet will be head of the construction and Milli will tell the villagers what they were thinking. Nina said to the villagers, do you really want your kids to live without education? That was that and they quickly agreed to help, so Nina took them to Milli, when they arrived Milli told everyone about what they will try first so they started by making their own bridge by cutting a tree and throwing it to the other side Ajeet was really excited but the tree was too small so it fell into the river! Everyone got really upset, and Ajeet didn’t know what else to do so he asked if any of the villagers had any ideas. Everyone returned to their homes and had a rest because it was night and everyone was very tired. The next morning they returned to the river to try something else. Ajeet didn’t know what else to do so he asked if any of the villagers had any ideas. No one spoke, there was silence except for the birds tweeting. Tweet tweet! Then suddenly a small boy broke the silence he cried: ooh ooh I got an idea and drew a raft on the sand through a stick. And said let's make a raft! Then they finally got happy again, Milli asked the name of the boy and he said it was Ralfie. And Nina gave him a chocolate he ran away with the chocolate and so they started making a raft, Ajeet didn’t build because he was trying to think of a substitute for the river, just in case the raft didn’t work. He called Nina and Milli and all of a sudden all three of their faces lit up! They shared their ideas and combined them together! They turned around just in time for the test of the raft but as soon as they pushed it into the water it started drowning everyone sighed! So finally they used their idea it was making a box out of wood and using a Long rope and aimed asked one of the villagers to ree on the other side and then asked one of the villagers to swim across and tie it tightly then they did the same on the side they were on and hung the box on the rope and asked the younger kids to sit in the box and the elder ones to push the box! They called their invention “The Tuin”!
They rushed to their school and were just in time for their exam! They quickly took their seats and started the exam… when the results came out the three of them got high grades in the architecture subject!!!
The end!
