Magical Shoes Part 3- The Shoes

 The next morning, Ella woke up early, she decided to unpack her other stuff she went to the moving truck and took her cycle and rode it to the garage then she parked it on the side. She then saw a box labeled “shoes”. She opened it and gasped she couldn't believe it she ran up to her brothers room just to make sure she tipped over into the library and search the Guinness world record's for 2023 she opened the special objects page, And squealed, but quickly covered her mouth when her brother started stirring in sleep. She was back in the garage in less than two seconds. She then looked at the shoes carefully, just to make sure, then she stuck a sticky note on the page like a bookmark. She then went up to her room and woke the others up. Mary groaned “it's not school today” “I know it's not, but I’ve got to show you something” came the reply. Eventually they were all in the garage in a few moments. Ella showed them what she had found. A pair of old and torn shoes. “Um, what are we meant to be looking at?” Mary said after while.”Oh right, sorry!” Ella said handing Mary the book. Mary opened the bookmarked page and read it out loud: 

                                         

                                                        The magical shoes

                                         People may think its just a pair of old 

                                                         and torn regular shoes

                                     But when you press the heels wings sprout out! 

                                                                               



Ella took one of the shoes and pressed the heels and a pair of wings came out, blocking  Ella’s eye view! She quickly closed the wings by pressing the heels again. She took both the shoes and wore them, then she jumped and with the pressure against the ground the wings came! Ella started rising into the air, “OMG she is flying!” Evan cried. And so she was. Ella was in the air flying around like swimming breaststroke. Then she swam back to the ground. After everyone had a turn the adults called them and asked them to go to the mall  to buy the groceries. Mary had a great idea, she told Steven and he agreed. They left for the mall and while Evan and Ella were buying veggies and fruits they slipped into the Sketchers and bought 3 pairs of shoes. When they returned home they changed into PJs and and went to bed. The next day they all woke up early and went to play with the shoes. But when they pressed the heels only one wing came they tried again, but only one came. They looked around the box and saw that the missing wing wasn’t missing it was broken! Ella started crying. Evan sighed. But Mary and Steven’s faces lit up. They went to the rooms and came back with their toolkit! They twisted and turned and in a hour they had 4 pairs of shoes. Looking brand new! Then Evan shared what he had been thinking ever since they moved here. “ hey guys, I have been wondering, do you think that this house belonged to a scientist? I mean, there is a cool elevator in my room for a library, which i tell you is not common, a water slide in Ella’s and a pair of shoes that fly, do you think that there would be more cool gadgets in this  house and we should look for them?” “Well, Ella said slowly, well let’s have a vote, those interested raise up your hand.” Everyone raised their hands! “Well goody!, Mary cried. Let’s go!”

  Nina, Milli and Ajeet got ready as quickly as possible to get to the bridge first, but as soon as they reached the bridge there was already a huge line of kids. They were  all talking and playing games together while waiting for their turn. Ajeet and the girls joined. The bridge had been there for a long time. The bridge was old and broken, it had a few broken planks here and there and the children were worried that if they were standing on breaks they would fall in the river. So they went one by one and slowly jumped over the broken planks. one Sunday night a storm arrived and it rained very much. The rain went Pitter Patter on the floor.
