Koalas-story
“Hello everybody! Ms Sammy called, today we will be learning about animals.” Her real name is Ms Samantha but she prefers Sammy. Oh dear! Silly me! I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Charlotte Smith, i am 12 years old and I study in Herbert Jones Elementary School, 6th grade class 3. As you know, today we are studying about animals, we have to write down about an animal then write 5-10 facts about it. It’s quite obvious which animal everyone will choose, Mia will choose Lammas( she is the so off kind), Liam will choose lions ( though he is super shy), Hannah will choose dolphins ( she is my best friend), Laurie will choose sloths and I will choose Koalas! They are the cutest!!! Laurie’s real name is Laurence but everyone calls him Laurie. He and I have been BFF’s since kindergarten. Anyways, I can share what I am going to write in my essay thingy. So for starters, Koalas can climb very high, jus like monkeys, it might even look like they can fly! They even have razor sharp claws! They pierce they trunk of the trees, which also helps them climb up high. I love to sleep! And so do koalas! They can sleep up to 18 hours a day. Koalas have pouches under their cheeks you know?! Just like a pelican! There are 2 different types of koalas, there is the northern koalas and the southern. Personally the northern ones are my fav with their grey skins and long noses. Though the southern ones are cute too, with their hairy ears and browner skin. A baby koalas called a joey, they live in their mother’s pouch for about six months, depending on the health of the child. Well, that’s it for now. Hope you like koalas as much as I do! Now i gotta go finish that essay! Bye guys see you with another animal story!!! C.S. Over and OUT!!!
You have accumulated facts that i didn't know. Thanks for sharing. It was informative.
