I was talking to my friend about what we like to do. She said: “Oh I like video games, what about you? I said: “ I do reading, for some fun! She said: “ Yuck! I would rather melt in the sun! And the other day I was trying to read, But my best friend wont stop bothering me! I read at home, I read at school, all the books are way too cool! The library is my favourite place, I try to go there with more haste. Whoosh!! The dragon comes down to have a treat, While the demigods want to eat, When they see the dragon teeth, Then they know they’re dead meat!!! Sherlock Holmes, Nancy Drew, Hardy boys and the whole mystery crew! There are different things that you can learn, Like how to make thin stick burn. Now I hope you like to read, And know how to plant a seed!

This is a reading poster I made with my friend. Kiki (Tianqi) Li.  The koala is reading a book and the cat wants to play with him but he wants to read and she’s trying to distract him by throwing balls of yarn at him. But like it says on the notepad. “ Immerse yourself in the book.” He is not getting distracted. No matter what!
