Seasons

First up is Winter, the start of every year,

As cold as ice, eat some warm and yummy rice!

Go out and start a snowball fight,

And throw them out of sight.

Come home shivering and take a hot bath,

Sit beside the fire on the living room mat.

Then comes Spring,

And all the flower bells will ring,

I go to smell the roses,

And soon I am showering with hoses!

We are gonna do the Spring dance,

slide right, slide left and give a little prance!

Jumping and leaping about

Spinning and twirling round and around.

Next is the hot summer,

It’s so hot! Bummer!

Perfect time to go for a swim,

And to go to the barber and get your hair trimmed.

Go to the beach and play frisbee

with your friends, my friends, you and me!

Just go out and scream with lots joy,

I sure love the summer, boy!!!

Last but not least comes the great Fall

Yellow, Orange leaves and all.

Down falls the Spring’s bloom,

Raked away with a broom,

Jump up and down in the leaves,

I can see such colourful trees,

Let’s all eat some apple pie,

Seeing the leaves just flying by.

Seasons seasons all around,

They come here all year round.
